A downloadable game

A simple vore game that I have some larger plans for, assuming it's found interesting by those who find and play it! But it is in its very introductory stages of development. Suggestions are welcome in the comments!

Current Features:

  • Basic amenities (Top-down movement)
  • Dialogue with NPCs
  • Combat & Vore mechanics
  • Save-Load features
  • Audio largely sourced externally

Planned Features:

  • Advanced amenities (Tutorial, story, etc.)
  • General polish
  • More Vore types (CV, BV?)
  • Large explorable World

Known Bugs:

  • Sprites sometimes show when they shouldn't.

How To:

Currently the game is in testing stages, here are the controls:

  • [Shift-Q] to interact.
  • [Shift-E] to engage combat.
  • [WASD] to move; [Shift-WASD] to run.
  • [E] in combat to attack.
  • [F] in combat to use your spell.
  • [R] to attempt to vore your opponent.
  • [SPACEBAR] is used for escape attempts and digestion actions after eating someone! (Your escape attempts are hinged to a chance, based on your agility, so if your agility is too low, you may be unable to escape some preds!)
  • [ESC] In combat to attempt to flee.
  • Touch the books to unlock spells (They are literally flashing)
  • [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] to select spells (Heal, Flame, Charm, Acid, Ward. (Ward reduces damage taken).
  • [ESC] in dialogue to exit dialogue.
  • [LMB] is used to click dialogue icons to ask questions. (The icon, not the text).
  • [TAB] to access the stat upgrade menu.
  • [F4] Quick-Save
  • [F5] Quick load from last save.
  • [T] Debug gain +100XP
  • Your HP is in the top left
  • When you have eaten prey, their escape progress is visible below it.
  • When in combat, a green circle or red cross mark display to indicate turn.

Stats & What They Do.

  • Vitality improves your HP a lot.
  • Strength determines your non-magic attack damage, and prey can’t escape your guts if their remaining HP is less than your strength stat. Also increases the difficulty for prey escaping you.
  • Agility is what determines your escape odds, and whether you can escape a predator AT ALL, when devoured. Also increases the difficulty for prey escaping you.
  • Voracity determines your likelihoos to vore, and how well you can prevent prey escaping.
  • Magic determines the effect, likelihood of success and the duration of spells.

I am planning to continue it! Just been hit with some irl business, but I’m currently in the process of remaking all the sprites and redoing the code so it doesn’t cause certain crashes and GUI issues.

(Also I wanna make the controls not completely demented)

hay no rush, take your time!

I love the potential this project has, but if you aren't interested in continuing it thats fine.

I just hope that if you stop you will let us know.

It's a really nice concept. With some extra detailed sprites, more character portraits, some map making, and a sexy storyline with quests, I think this will be a pretty good Vore game.

It is very good! There are some curious bugs, but the very concepts are very cool and I like them very much!

Narra fought a dryad, and had to run, because 30 strength was still not enough to outdamage her healing, and she started nomming my character, melting her HP extremely fast. After that, if Narra would engage combat with dryad (other enemies would work normally), it would not be Narra's turn, but it would not be dryad's turn either, so we would be stuck. The only accessible action would be attempting escape through "Esc". So, I had to fail an escape attempt, so the combat would actually become possible. Then dryad would have her turn, and then there would finally be Narra's turn again.

While talking to commander, the third option in dialogue would crash the game.

And there is just one thing as proposal… I think Umami should not melt Narra immediately when asked "Would you like to eat me?". From META point, a player would approach her first, talk to her, try this option, think it is always courting death option, and would not try it with other characters, while they do have peaceful, non-lethal option. Umami currently is a strange mix of powerful and merciless boss (which in most games would be found somewhere in the end of location) and tutorial character (who are indeed found at the very start of the game and are not even "fight-able"), so, maybe it could be a good idea to disable her battle until the player beats the most powerful enemy other than her or something like this.

The game is brilliant, I like it very much. A bit more intuitive controls (I mean, some lazy players would not even know how to talk to Umami, so a little text reading "Shift+Q to talk" would not hurt), improved options for dialogue (so you don't have to wait for them to "type" themselves, so you could progress through them by pressing any button, not bound to Shift+Q after the dialogue is initiated) are sure to come, so I am really thrilled to see where it goes!

I hope you have a lot of fun working on it! ^^

Here is the bug which causes game to crush when Narra tries to talk to Commander and ask her for tips, by the way:

Thanks! These bugs have been pointed out to me actually, I’ve realised a bunch of things I could do better on a rerun, so I’m currently in the process of re-coding everything more cleanly and efficiently!

(I’ll even add nicer less awful controls!)

I hope to drop an update in the next week or so with all the revised systems and such!

(Here’s to hoping I can figure out how to give NPCs quality pathfinding and random wandering :3)

Will there be a mobile version in the future?

Very unlikely, unfortunately I'm not sure how I'd even do that (If I figure out an easy way then I would tho)

this is a pretty god damn good game, i'm now prettyexited for the next changes and versions of the game, keep up the good work, this deserved my five starts ! if i could it would've been SIX !

Thank-youuuu!!!!𖥔 ࣪ ᥫ᭡ꗃ⋆࣪.

do you have any idea on when you will release the next update ? i'm now very curious !

if not i'll just wait (TwT")

I'm currently planning to rework all the major assets from the ground up to be more efficient, purge potential bugs and generally make everything cleaner! This will probably mean no daily updates for a few days as I rework everything (But hopefully I should be able to resolve all the bugs and open up potential for some neat mechanics)

(And also have nicer controls... ( 〃..))

It seems like a proficient start to something. Looking forward to seeing where this goes!

Thanks Sharkmom and Sharky, (I think) I fixed the problem (Turns out it was a resolution issue! Where the GUI Didn't sync with... much of anything other than 1920x1080!)

I've tested it using 920x560 and 3840x2160, so it should work? Gimme another heads up if it doesn't please! :3

(Also CV's my favourite personally so uhm... hehehehe)

I do plan to go to Ekas, I just want to make sure things work a bit more first! For example: The dialogue, which I hope now works :)

Then I'll have to try to pay attention. Excited to see how things turn out.

I JUST CANT interact with any one other then combat witch works

Dialogue system doesn't seem to really work. Can't actually click on the boxes. Or rather, they were out of sync with the proper place. Might have to do with screen resolution size? My screen's a 4K at 3840x2160 resolution.

Combat seemed to work, at least.

Excited about the prospect of this, especially if CV is added down the line.

Could also recommend you maybe check out Eka's portal, to get some extra traction for your game, if you haven't already. They have a video game forum.
